The New Verticutter / Scarifier AVR 1100 from Bosch enable effortless, expert lawn care. The particularly innovative feature of both garden tools is the "Jet-Collect" system, a quickly rotating turbine cylinder with a width of 32 centimeters. The powerful air flow generated by the turbine has two important advantages: it blows all dead grass or moss completely into the large, 50-liter collection box. The force of the air flow compresses the moss, so that optimum use is made of the large collection box capacity. This makes annoying extra work, such as subsequently collecting moss or root fragments left on the lawn, unnecessary and reduces the number of times the box has to be emptied by nearly half.
The "Power-Drive" motor ensures high torque and a fast work rate on both tools. Due to the reduction system, the torque is about 700 percent greater than that of conventional lawn rakers or verticutters. This allows for fast, effortless working and prevents the tool from stalling when it hits thicker roots.
